It was back in 1886, when Fermo Signorelli established in Umberto I street, actual Martiri street, one of the first pastry bars equipped with Espresso machine. Over the years, the award-winning bar changed location several times between city headquarters, to constantly find spaces suitable for an ever-growing production and destined to an increasingly larger clientele: without moving far away from central area, rooted in his vocation to be in Alessandria city and to takepart in the tradition of walking through the center streets, having an aperitif or a sunday morning pastry
The notoriety increases, and the fine Fermo Signorelli bakery starts to be inquired throughout Italy and beyond.
At this point Fermo Signorelli, like a good piedmontese that has married the tradition of fine Turin pastry, decides to expand the production. A production that is rich of the Savoy court sophistication and fine as french recipes.
